AI programmes fail because organisations cannot absorb them, not because the technology is weak.

Governance, trust, incentives and workflow fit are the real barriers. That is the problem I am hired to solve, and it is why my work starts with how the organisation actually operates rather than with which model it licences.

The material is the same in each: what changes in delivery practice when AI arrives, what has to be rebuilt underneath it, and where the effort savings are real rather than projected.

A Human-Led Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

First edition, May 2025 · ISBN 9798286267217

For most people AI still behaves like a black box: confusing, intimidating, occasionally threatening. I wrote AI & I to turn that into understanding. It is not a technical manual. It meets the reader where they are and helps them make sense of a fast-moving field.

The book covers how AI works, its history, its application across medicine, finance, law and education, the future of work, and the question of human meaning in an AI world. Readers already working in technology tend to find the value on the human side: trust, incentives, and what changes about the job once the tools arrive.

Work with me

Work with me

A pilot is run as a technology trial, sponsored by a function and measured on enthusiasm. It proves the tool works, but it does not change the process the tool sits inside, so the original effort stays in place alongside a new licence cost. Four stages take it further than that.

01

As-is assessment

A structured read of how the work actually happens, where the effort sits, and which processes repay automation first. Delivered as a prioritised case for change, not a shortlist of products.

02

Redesign and build

Processes redesigned around AI-assisted delivery, with the automations, integrations, templates and reporting built, tested and handed over in working order.

03

Architecture and controls

Tooling and platform decisions taken against the redesigned process, with the access, data and audit controls an enterprise technology function will sign off.

04

Capability transfer

Training and embedded coaching so the client's own people run the method afterwards. Adoption sustained past ninety days is the test I hold the work to.

Experience

What I do, and what it has delivered

01

AI-powered project management

I deliver the transformation.

I run your AI business transformation end to end as delivery lead, with AI carrying the reporting, coordination and document work that normally needs a PMO team around it.

Reporting cycles fall from days to hours, senior time goes to decisions, and the coordination headcount a programme this size usually absorbs is not required.

02

Training

I train your people to work AI-native.

Curriculum built on your own processes and tool stack, taught live, from small teams to cohorts of 250 and up. People rebuild their real tasks with AI and leave with them working.

Capability stays in the business rather than on a consultant's invoice, and teams apply it to live work within days.
